Our website is moving!

Over the next few months this website will go away and we will transition to using the Family Search Wiki system for our center website. You can view the new site here

Upcoming Evening Classes

7-8pm, free of charge (center open at same time)

  • May 1 - Irish and Scots-Irish Records (Cissie Hill)
  • May 17 - Wikis for Finding Availability of Records (Alison Fanara)
  • June 5 - Eastern European Records (Roman Sakowicz)
  • June 21 - State and Other Non-Federal Censuses (Ralph Mize)

Family Search Trees now available in Beta Test to the General Public

Anyone may now get a Family Search Account and access the records that were previously known as "New Family Search." These records include information submitted by Family Search patrons for many years. They may or may not be accurate, but the system allows individuals to build their own family tree using this data, add their own family data, have discussions to identify and correct inaccuracies, and include sources and other family history information. The name and e-mail of those submitting new information are included, so people can find living relatives working on the same lines.

Sign up at www.familysearch.org/invite/familytree_tab (that's an underscore between tree and tab).
